The AFP Fact Check video playlist “How to Verify Information Online” has won the 17th Digital Media Awards Europe in the category ‘Best Fact Checking Project.’
AFP has decided to remain in Japan for the time being to continue its mission to provide complete news coverage while applying strict security measures to ensure the safety of its team, which remains flexible so as to be able to change course at a moment's notice.
As part of the Hungarian project against disinformation, Lakmusz-HDMO, AFP will participate in an awareness week at the French Institute in Budapest from April 15th to 19th.

The French Institute of Greece (IFG) will present from March 20th to 30th the photo exhibition by Thomas Coex, "From Athens to Paris, 20 Years of Olympic Games."
Photo editors from AFP's London bureau were alerted on Sunday to alterations on an image released by Kensington Palace of the Princess of Wales and her children.
Following discussions, AFP and a group of international news agencies deemed these modifications to be in violation of the ethical standards of the profession. As a result, they collectively agreed to remove the photo from their distribution platforms.
